Family Service of Rhode Island, in partnership with the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth & Families and Rhode Island College, is proud to host the Advancing Juvenile Justice Conference on Thursday, December 12th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rhode Island College’s Gaige Hall.
This year’s conference will bring together leaders, advocates, and practitioners committed to improving outcomes for youth and families across our state. We are honored to welcome U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse as our keynote speaker. Senator Whitehouse played a leading role in the 2018 reauthorization of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act, strengthening protections for young people nationwide and advancing more effective, evidence-based reforms that continue to shape policy today.
