Family Care Community Partnerships
The Family Care Community Partnership (FCCP) can help your child succeed at home, in school and in the community. The program may be provided at a location that best fits your needs, including your home. Contact us for more information at 401-519-2280 or visit our agency's office at 55 Hope Street, Providence.
FCCP: Preventing Juvenile Delinquency and More
FCCP serves families with children under age 18 (up to 21 in certain cases) with behavior issues, juvenile delinquency or other problems that place them at risk of involvement with the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).
Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) leads what is often referred to as the "Urban Core FCCP," which serves Central Falls, Cranston, Pawtucket and Providence.
FCCP: Wrapping Around Your Family!
After meeting with you in your home or another location and developing a family plan, FCCP workers will "wrap" your family with local programs and services to meet your needs.
What Families are Saying About FCCP
"Thank you for being there and helping me to understand how to get supports."
"Very blessed that FCCP works with our entire family and especially my daughter's needs. I feel my family is more 'together.'"
"FCCP has helped me feel more confident in knowing how to ask questions at IEP meetings and feeling part of my child's education plan."
FCCP Results: Did you know?
Families that meet with FCCPs and work with them for three months or more are over twice as likely to stay out of the DCYF system.
More than eight in ten families that work with FCCPs for three months or more complete all or some of the goals they set for themselves.
Out of every 100 families that complete their goals with FCCPs, 98 stay out of DCYF care.
