Adopt-A-Girl-in-a-Shelter 2020 Campaign

Updated: Dec 18, 2020

In a holiday season wrapped in the effects of COVID-19, there's an even greater need to support the youth in crisis that are a part of Family Service of Rhode Island’s residential program. So this year, Family Service of Rhode Island is again offering to provide holiday gifts through our “Adopt-A-Girl-in-a-Shelter” campaign.

In Rhode Island, youth aged 12-21, who experience serious obstacles in their lives which may include abuse, neglect, victimization, mental health challenges, loss of a caregiver, and other traumas end up in programs like ours. We work to ensure youth get the services and supports they need. Our goal is always to make their time with us as normal as possible, but as they feel the strain of being away from loved ones during the holidays, we need your help more than ever to help provide a bit of extra cheer for them in a tough time.

We need your help TODAY to raise $2,400 for girls, age 12-21, living our residences during this COVID-19 holiday season. Can you make a gift, at whatever level you are comfortable with, to help these kids have a safe and happy holiday?
