08/10/06 Providence Journal Columnist Joins Board of Directors   Julia Steiny, who writes the weekly "Edwatch" column for the Providence Journal, has been elected to the Family Service of Rhode Island board of directors. Ms. Steiny, a former member of the Providence school board, is also a consultant and writer for education, government and private enterprises. (end)
