09/28/06 NBC 10's Patrice Wood to Emcee Brighter Futures Award Luncheon NBC 10 anchorwoman Patrice Wood will emcee the Brighter Futures Award Luncheon on Monday, November 13. Ms. Wood has received many volunteer and professional awards, and has been reporting on NBC 10 for more than 25 years.  She anchors the news at 5, 6 and 11 p.m.  Ms. Wood emceed last year's Brighter Futures Award Luncheon. The Boston Red Sox, the Red Sox Foundation and the PawSox are receiving the annual Brighter Futures Award for their kindness and generosity to residents of our group home for little boys.
