07/12/07 Nurturing Parenting Training Slated   Social service professionals from across the area are invited to learn how to facilitate the Nurturing Parenting Program® on September 11 and 12 at Family Service of Rhode Island's 55 Hope Street, Providence, location. The Nurturing Parenting Program® has a proven track record of preventing recurrence of child abuse and neglect.  Family Service of Rhode Island utilizes the program in its service to children and families. The facilitator training will be provided by Stephen J. Bavolek, Ph.D., the principal author of the program and a recognized leader in child abuse and neglect treatment and prevention, and parenting education.
