03/23/07 Help Us Fix Up This Playground! Family Service of Rhode Island’s project to open its first child care center is moving right along! Last fall, workers began converting space on the ground floor of the agency's Mount Pleasant Academy building on Chalkstone Avenue in Providence. Mount Pleasant Academy teacher Kim Carlos inspects the work in what may be her new baby's child care center! Much progress has been made inside, but we still need to fix up a playground next door with fencing and new equipment for the children.  If you would like to make a donation to help us fix up this playground, please email us.
