Begun in the aftermath of 9/11, Family Service of Rhode Island's certified Critical Incident Stress Management Team provides counseling to the victims, survivors, witnesses, volunteers and families affected by violence, accident or emergency. 

We are part of the Rhode Island Critical Incident Stress Management network, and also work in partnership with the Providence Emergency Management Team.

Our efforts have included the response to the Station Nightclub Fire--serving as the Family Resource Center assisting the survivors and the families of the victims--and assistance to persons displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
