05/14/08 Brighter Futures Chairs Announced
Hinckley Allen & Snyder partner Marc A. Crisafulli and McLaughlin & Moran chairman and CEO Paul P. Moran are co-chairing the 2008 Brighter Futures Award event, a fundraiser for Family Service of Rhode Island.
The event recognizes a person or organization making life better for Rhode Island’s children.

Past recipients include Providence police chief Colonel Dean Esserman; the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Red Sox Foundation and the Pawtucket Red Sox; and Providence Mayor David Cicilline. The 2008 recipient will be announced in the near future.
The event is scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2008, noon at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Attorney Crisafulli, above left, served on the 2007 Brighter Futures committee, and has served on the boards of several non-profits, including the Children’s Museum, the Miriam Hospital, and the Providence Preservation Society.
Mr. Moran, right, also served on the 2007 Brighter Futures
co mmittee, and serves as a vice chair of the Meeting Street board of directors. He has served on the boards of Big Brothers, the John E. Fogarty Foundation, and other charitable organizations.
